Ahh, my first day with nothing planned, nowhere I have to be at a certain time, no people I have to interact with, just me and what I choose to do today -- I do have things I need to accomplish, things like buy washing powder, so I can do some washing, trash bags so I can actually have proper trash bags, things like that -- but nothing pressing, it isn't as if I need to be at Target at 1PM or anything...
So with that in mind this blog will be revolving around random, and will have the potential of being pointless :)
I keep meaning to write about kickboxing, and I will but I have to say that I have done it for two weeks now -- twice a week, and not until this past session on Thursday have my legs ached so much. We did squats, mini squats, and more squats, and then some more mini squats and even today, two days past the "event" my muscles are still protesting. I don't think it helped, that on Friday I took a nearly 3 year old (read approx. 35-40 lbs) little girl, her brother (3 months, and with car seat 50lbs?), and the double stroller (total 110lbs, I don't know something like that -- heavy at least) for a 50 minute brisk walk. Oh, but the weather was gorgous -- you can't beat California in the winter, it was chilly when the wind picked up BUT the sky ws this intense blue, and the sun shone, and earth seemed to glow...
So, tomorrow I have goal planning for 2007 with my extended family -- my San Jose family...
here are our guidelines:
1) What three goals will I absolutely accomplish in 2007?
2) What would be a terrific "stretch" goal to attempt in 2007?
3) What would be a "miracle" goal to achieve in 2007?
I still have to think what stretch and miracle goals will be...I will post tomorrow with my goals :)
Ok, enough randomness for this blog, off to maybe get ready :)
