so i collect bottles -- predominately wine bottles, although i do have one beer bottle from England, and one blue raspberry mix bottle - because the bottle is pretty :) i am not an alcoholic, don't really drink that much wine, in fact many of the bottle are from my parents -- but there is something about the shape of the bottles -- i have a red one, sort of a dust red, triangular square shaped, and a blue polished glass looking one with a tall neck, then one from my 21st birthday which i stuck a candle in, yet another - monkey's bay (the title is cute, AND it is the wine Deb and I drank the weekend of her bachelorette night), and yet another bottle with a fake bamboo base...something about seeing them all clustered together, standing guard on top of a bookcase, the light glistening off of them...i know random, but there they sit peering at me through covered lens, and standing sentinel over the books gathered on the bookcase below...
