still kicking...

Today marked session number (I don't even know :)) of kickboxing, I do know that I've been going consistently two times a week since the start of the new year -- so far, so good on that account. However, isn't it supposed to get easier? Tonight I ache, I am sore, and beforehand I didn't really want to go -- but I did.
It is funny, we jogged back and forth for warm up today - every other jog or so we switched to knee highs, and squats, and drops, and lunges, and kicks - you get the picture -- but what got me is when we are going one way you face yourself in the mirror, so you get this prime shot of yourself sweating and red in the face, attempting to get your knee up to your waist and the picture is just downright amusing -- for me, that is. In fact I try not to look at myself, I'll either cringe or laugh.
We did lots of jogging tonight, and punching, and sit ups, and these bear claws -- and well, I think at times it depends on your own intensity level -- if you are fitter than another, then the work out is partially in your control -- with jogging you can weights, with the punching you can add more power, you can jog faster, peform tighter knee highs at a double rate
