Saturday March 17th was one of those days for me: I spent the morning with Boaz, we journaled together, and looked at more lofts, and then he dropped me off at the train station ~ package number 1. From there I travelled up to Sacramento by train where I had the opportunity to read Obama's latest book ~ package number 2. Then I was picked up by my mum and I spent the evening with my parents, sitting on the patio sipping wine and eating pate and brie and then enjoying a sumptious dinner of roast chicken and all the fixings ~ package number 3.
Each "package" had it's own unique moments of joy, and within each capsule of time it was as if a different part of who I am was expressed.
My time with Boaz is still in the early stages, and there are pockets of complete relaxation and moments of holding back. But it was a different experience to be able to journal together and share that. Then of course looking at these lofts, I will have to blog about that another time.
Traveling by train is so relaxing. I had four seats with a table to myself. I opened the book and became lost in the writing and the style of Obama, and being able to just sit there and read and take in new knowledge is something that is so important to me. As much as I enjoy it, I do forget how much I like to be able to grow my knowledge base, and spend that time esconsed in a book with no worries about anything until I have to exit the train.
Finally, being with my parents is one those things that is just so freeing. There are few people who know me so well, and love me so unconditionally as my parents -- in fact, short of my brothers too they are the only two. We sat outside enjoying the current pleasant weather, and sipping wine and just enjoying each other's company. I learnt just how much Boaz is like how my dad was when first dating my mum, so there is definately hope yet. *laugh* Again I will try and tie all this together in blogs to come.
Anywho...stay tuned this week for: my focus on the "spark," my life in pics, my daily meals, and an update on the going ons of Boaz and myself!!!
