choice

If someone was to ask me for one word that defines life I would say, "choice."

Life is a choice...the areas that make up life are a choice: God, Love, Job, Attitude, Emotions...

Life its very self is a choice: we choose life...I am the way, the truth, and the life. Whoever comes to me shall never perish, but have everlasting life.

We choose joy. Some days are just choc full of joy filled moments. Other days we have to choose to look for joy - we have to choose joy for our lives.

We choose how we respond to life. How we react to other people's choices, actions. No one can "make" you angry, make you happy, make you sad. It is the choice of the individual - of you and me. We choose to be angry, to be happy, to be sad. Not to say that people's actions can't hurt us, but it is our choice what we do with that hurt and how that impacts how we choose to respond.

We choose to accept or reject God. We choose to live a life honoring God. We choose to listen or play dumb to the Holy Spirit's prompting.

Life is a choice, and ultimately we choose what we want most, but sometimes we just don't know what we want most, or we do and we're too afraid to make that choice!!!
