A grand Friday night...that is what my employer said as I left this evening to her daughter, that I had to go because she was sure I had grand plans for my evening, and oh what grand plans they were!!!
My intention was to pop into the mall to pick up two items, and I did but I didn't leave the mall for another two hours. My purchases took me probably all of 15 minutes, and then I wandered into Borders, where I picked up a book I had been reading (been reading in Borders the past few weeks), I located the page I had left off on, and proceeded to sit there and read, mindless of the time, and the low grumblings of my tummy. In fact I sat there until about 9pm, at which point I closed the book having finished the tale.
I do feel slightly bad not purchasing the book, and at a later date I most likely will. It seems wrong to read the book and yet not purchase it.
Home I came, but rather than be sensible and maybe prepare something substantial to quell the now not so low grumblings, I made a pot of tea and indulged with 3 Ginger and Lemon Cremes and 1 Raspberry and Creme. Yes, well I've never claimed to be overly healthly in my eating habits now have I?!
What an adventure I had with the munchkins today at work, I tell you all about it tomorrow, for now sleep beckons with greedy intent!!!!
