odd

Why is it that they only put three Ferrero Rochers in a package??? I ate one, and of course that just wasn't enough, so I had the second one, and well that also wasn't enough so I had to eat the third one; and that means I ate an odd number!!! Sometimes things like that bother me. I like things to be in even numbers. For instance if I eat a cookie, I like to have two or four, not three though and certainly not five, occassionally I have to eat six to maintain the even number status of consumption!!!

Then there's the matching of silverware. Take last night for instance, I pulled out a knife from the dishwasher however it didn't match the fork I already had out, so I exchanged to knife to match the pattern of the fork. It isn't as if I believe any harm, etc would come to me if I ate with mismatched silverware. Or if I ate an odd number of cookies, or sweets/candy I just don't like to do it. I like the volume on the TV to be set at an even number.

I am not entirely sure where this fascination with all things "even" came from. As a child I certainly don't remember myself that way, and I am uncertain at which point I decided that the need for all things odd to be eradicted!!!

Ok well I think I may make a cup of tea and eat 2 or 4 biscuits!!!!!!
