So I know Jesus can turn water into wine, but can't turn my whining into anything, however I don't expect any miraculous alterations just a chance to w and w!
a. My computer: for some reason the battery cord doesn't like to stay in the back. So it means that on a whim the computer will turn itself off because there is no charge. Or you could be sitting with the laptop and the cord is in, you don't move, and lo and behold the cord is no longer connected and no amount of wiggling will get it back. When my computer acts this way, it makes it very frustrating to use it!
b. It is TOO hot! It was too HOT last week. It is too HOT this week. I've quite enjoyed California's mild summer, and I don't relish the now all too hot weather that casts a lethargic "glow."
c. My body aches from KB. I skipped two weeks, and my body reminded me that while I can do this don't expect to fall back into it with ease. AND I went KB without gloves, usually I borrow but there weren't any on either Monday or Tuesday. Monday we spent half the class on the bags, and well I cut up my knuckles on both hands. Then Tuesday I go back, band aids on that don't actually stay on once I start sweating, and well I rip open the healing skin/scabs and they ooze blood and that watery substance, and in fact they hurt so much that I was woken up from my sleep by them (hence my low threshold for pain). I took photos, will post later.
d. On the subject of photos I wanted to post photos from the day in the City but my French friend deleted them off my camera because he had uploaded them to his computer, and he said I have to ask him now for them, which is all well and good but he leaves for France himself tomorrow and won't be back for three weeks, which means I won't have those photos for at least a month!!
e. I am bookless. I am currently reading two different books, both of which I intend to finish, but I am lacking a book that really engages me and draws me in. The problem is that when I have a book like that I tend to then read it from beginning to end in one sitting, like I did with Harry Potter 7, which I started at 930pm, and finished right before 3am!
f. Early morning commuters - see previous post.
OK, so before anyone accuses me of not being thankful that
a. I have a computer and there are thousands of people who don't...
b. I am not living in flooded waters, nor freezing temperatures...
c. I have a body able to exercise...
d. I have a camera to take photos, and friends who are perfectionists and want to pick the good photos...
e. I can read, that I have a bookcase overflowing with books...
f. I have a car, etc...
I just wanted to whinge and whine, and really they are inconsequential elements of life that won't have any bearing on my life - not really, anyway!!!
