Due to using the word "love" in my last post I looked it up on dictionary/thesaurus.com and they provided an interesting synonyms for the word, and that was "choose." Actually they had a few intriguing synonyms, but "choose" piqued my interest.
The other words are as follows:
admire, adulate, canonize, care for, cherish, choose, deify, delight in, dote on, esteem, exalt, fall for, fancy, flip over, glorify, go for*, gone on*, hold dear, hold high, idolize, like, long for, prefer, prize, thrive with, treasure, venerate, wild for*, worship
Some other favorites include: esteem, hold dear, hold high, long for, and thrive with. I think they are enlightening descriptive words for love. When we use the word love towards another, to me I think the above words provide an accurate portrayal of that love.
