underpaid

Ah the beauty of having your very own computer tech - does that even work in the sentence? (see now I have myself questioning my writing and speaking abilities, and realizing I need to be much tighter with my language and communication especially when a Frenchman corrects my English!!!) I looked up computer tech on www.urbandictionary.com (a fun tool for word searches by the way), and what it said made me smile..."a person who gets underpaid to fix simple user errors." Well, I have been without my paid for network on wireless for the past week or so, and tonight I no longer have that problem because my sweet boyfriend came over after work (a 13 or so hour day mind you) and fixed the problem - not entirely sure what he did, but it doesn't really matter because I doubt in the future I will ever be fixing any computer or internet related problem. So if Guillaume is my very own personal computer tech, I might have to remedy the definition so that it doesn't include 'underpaid' and come up with some payment plan!!!

In other news it would seem as my apartment is fit to be packed in -- the lock on the door is still broken, the waste disposal is broken, the dishwasher is broken, and the dryer is broken AND the landlady put the rent up come January 1st - so it looks like I am on the move once again. Before that though I need to get the lock, waste disposal, and dishwasher fixed and I need to clean the place from top to bottom, left to right, corner to crack -- cleaning just doesn't interest me. I like a clean and tidy place, clutter free - I really do, despite the current apartment status seeming to say otherwise, I just look at it and think "Hmm, sit here under a warm blanket and roam the net or actually get up off my cute bottom and clean and put away clothes, and sort through papers, and *gasp* get rid of papers and other such nonsense that is filling space throughout my bedroom." Then there are the other activities that fill my time, and quite frankly seem to take priority over cleaning: things like preparing a dramatic reading for a women's christmas tea, typing up my dad's sermon, spending time with my very distracting boyfriend, not being home due to adolescent watching -- you get the picture.

All that being said I do believe I should find my way to my bed, which is actually made and made with clean flannel sheets!!!
