Tantalizing Tuesday in brief.
Check out this article on abstinence, specifically abstinence clubs at Ivy League Universities. The article is rather long and detailed, and offers a varied view on abstinence, but it does hold some level of tantalizing goodness.
Second degree of tantalization is my younger brother's blog. He has been posting more frequently of late, and his posts are full of gleaming nuggets of truth as he posts what God is revealing to Him through His Word. Especially smile tugging are his post titles.
One final piece of tantalization: check out wikipedia's definition and explanation of April Fool's Day. Turns out that it may have originated in France, just what my Froggy needs another "hat's off"!! As it happens the new year wasn't celebrated on January 1st, but April 1st until the mid 1500s, and when January 1st became the official day of celebration, April 1st became an open book for people to pull pranks on those that didn't know the switch had occurred. Also the French seem to have a slight obsession with fish on April Fool's Day.
One prank of interest that was listed involved an English Football Coach, Harry Redknapp (who my dad knows, hence the heightened interest), who during his time as West Ham Coach was interviewed on a Saturday Football show discussing the change of rules regarding the goal size...I'm curious: Mum, Dad - do you remember this???
A slow news day for me, and little enhancement of the not so spicy tantalization -- but more to hit the blog shortly.
