Not just wordless Wednesday, but wordless every day. Wow, what a twirling swirling past few weeks!! Guillaume proposed Sunday April 6th, I then worked long hours, prepared for a trip, and set sail - literally - for a 7 day cruise with my good friend, Alison. We cruised the Pacific Northwest taking in points of interest in such places as Astoria, Seattle, Vancouver, and Victoria (note pictures in next post, and maybe watch for some fun cruise related stories, or then again not)!!
Get back from the cruise wedding talks begin in earnest. Wedding talks put on hold - slight conflict over venue and location, ahem: I see America, I see France, Guillaume won't being seeing Ellie's underpants!!! *laugh* - wow I've been gone from blogging far too long. Seriously, please take the above in the right frame of mind (do you remember that old rhyme? maybe not seeing as it went: "I see England, I see France, I see *insert name* underpants" - ), anyways, moving right along. Wedding talks stalled, Guillaume sick -- I'm getting that whole in "sickness and health" part down, it is love right, when you can listen to your man throw up and not hustle on home?! Parents down, wedding talks resume (Guillaume may just see Ellie's underpants, but until September 13 because now the State of California will say he legally can)!!!
With all that and more, blogging didn't take high priority. But I did miss the thrill and the adventure of writing. Of not quite knowing what is next, what will my mind instruct my fingers to type, so here I am, returned from the abyss and while I would like to promise that my return is for good, I cannot. What I can promise though is that if I motivate my mind and fingers with just the right pull I have some great stories to share. Right now however I need to race back downstairs and retrieve my contact stuff, and then I think my bed is every so softly (who am I kidding, it is yelling with a forceful insistence) calling to me!!!
