difficult to understand?!

It has been noted by some that I am difficult to understand...well, let me clarify - difficult to understand what I am saying...yes, well more clarification is needed: because I have an accent - an English accent it has been said that at times it is difficult to know what I am saying.

However I was not under the impression that "12" and "1" sound so much alike as to have ordered a number "12" and yet been given a number "1."

After work I found myself desiring the taste of breaded chicken, with bread and maybe some potato salad so off to Albertsons I head but to my dismay no chicken do they have. Plan deterred, so bread and milk I buy and with a new plan. I head to Jack in the Box. Place my order for a number 12, no ice in my drink. Proceed to wait at least ten minutes for the car in front of me to collect all their food and now it is my turn.

First she hands me my drink - aha: ice!!! I tell her "no ice" - she says "I only put a little bit it." Politely I continue to decline the drink and request a new one, especially considering that drink has most likley been sitting there for the ten minutes that I waited, so what to her felt like a little bit of ice had in fact been more!!!

Next my meal and the money...it comes to less than it should, so I check the receipt -- aha: a number one!! Again I politely recline her offering, and inform her that I ordered a number 12, would she be so king to deliver....

And well, yes she did deliver -- had me wait out front, parked, and an employee brought my food to my door!!!
