My house is clean....just took me a week to get around to actually doing it :)
New fave song...maybe not fave in the traditional sense of the word, but certainly a song that during the course of the evening has a struck a chord or two... The is the last track on Hillsong United's latest album, although I think it is also the title track for the latest Hillsong Album.
SAVIOUR KING
Let now our hearts burn with a flame
A fire consuming all for Your Son's holy Name
And with the heavens we declare
You are our King
We love You Lord
We worship You
You are our God
You alone are Good
Let now the weak say I have strength
By the Spirit of Pow'r
That raised Christ from the dead
Let now the poor stand and confess
That my Portion is Him
Let now Your church shine as the bride
That You saw in Your Heart
As You offered up Your Life
And now the lost be welcomed home
By the saved and redeemed
Those adopted as Your own
You asked Your Son to carry this
The heavy cross
Our weight of sin
I love You Lord
I worship You
Hope which was lost now stands renewed
I give my life to honour this
The Love of Christ
The Saviour King
Let now our hearts burn with a flame
A fire consuming all for Your Son's holy Name
And with the heavens we declare
You are our King
I wish I was savy enough to put the song on here too, because it is much more than the words, but it is the music that accompanies the words and melody and the way it builds, and drops, and builds again...on the album it is over 12 minutes in length.
Tomorrow is a new day -- a new day of God's grace and mercy, and also a message about God's holiness, something has been stirring in my soul all week since I met with the pastor and worship pastor on Tuesday where we first broached the topic for the coming Sunday. I am not entirely sure what exactly is stirring, I just know something is abreast.
Also on a similar vein since early Friday morning I've had, in addition to the soul stirring, a sense of unease, as if something bad is imminent in my life or the life of someone I hold dear. I don't often get that sense, but with it came an urgency to pray - perhaps by the prayer the "danger" is no longer and I might not ever know what it might have been or to whom it was directed, or the "danger" may still be waiting in the wings to pounce and perhaps devour...
