nearly here

Autumn is in the air. Although technically it isn't Autumn, or Fall, until September 23 you can tell that autumn is fast approaching. Night comes that much sooner. The air has that particular crispness to it. Oh, I like the season of Autumn. It isn't nearly as wonderful here in California as it is elsewhere - California tends to have very mild autumns, and the leaves don't overly change color, but if you travel to certain streets and certain areas you get more of a feel for the season than elsewhere.

I like that crispness. I am thankful that California is in fact a state that does have the sun shine most of the year. I do like the cooler weather, and I do it accompanied with the sun shining. Although I am looking forward to that first day when the clouds don't melt away, and the gray clouds linger in the air, and the air has the cool, moist quality to it, and I can wrap in a blanket, with a cup of tea on hand, and a book in hand.
