not quite s in hp

There's an old adage, "pride comes before a fall" - not just an adage, but scriptural. And my cracked lips and blurry eyes can attest to that truth.

Well, I was in bed before 10 but sleep was slow to overcome, just as I had drifted off I hear a planitive cry...I tumble out of bed, glasses pushed up on nose, a quick glance at blaring green numbers - 1110, and make the trek to retrieve the screaming baby.

Bottle in hand we settle in, but to no avail. Downstairs we roam for more milk, back up, but alas middle urchin has conquered the bed. Baby still protesting quite loudly. Back downstairs we travel. Aha, baby asleep, to the crib he goes. Baby awakes, so back downstairs we roam. Finally baby and I settle on the couch, baby esconsed in my arms, and myself esconsed in the cushions. Baby and I sleep, baby stirs, Ellie stirs - not once, not twice, not even thrice...

Seven rolls around, and up and at 'em. Shower, dressed, and breakfast for all - the four of us make it tochurch by 9am.

Here's hoping that the afternoon brings naps for us all!!!

-----------------------------------

Sweetness - naps did find their way to the house, and four sleepy beings rested their heads. Now after rock collecting, exercise, and more three little scallywags rest once more. One is out, two are close, but guess what? All are in their own beds......at least for now!!!!
