Once again silence fills the air...okay well not quite, there is the drip drip of the shower that doesn't not drip, there is the buzz of the computer, and the *what sound does a cricket make?!* BUT "my" babies are silent, and guess what they are in their OWN beds with NO tears, no tantrums, no hysteria; oh I do so enjoy it when child rearing techniques work!
I must admit though that I was joined last night by the three old who crept into bed with me, and furthermore must admit that the thought of having to rouse myself from my sleep enough to return her to her bed was out of the question; and I now therefore do have a little more empathy for the sleep deprived parent who merely rolls over and lets said child enter silently into the bed.
Children sleeping, production document for church entered, I think I am not too far off from joining in the dreams of the children, and it isn't even ten o' clock!
Tomorrow will be interesting as I cart all three darlings with me to church early to get ready for church service. The weekend is all about learning new levels of empathy!!!
