Tricked

For those of us living in Northern California we were tricked into thinking that Fall had found its way into the Valley, but alas it isn't so!!

Saturday was delightful with dark grey clouds hurling forth sheets of rain, Sunday tried its hardest to cling to the dark, damp clouds, but Monday dawned sunny and clear, nary a cloud in the sky, let alone a grey one! Not only was it a beautiful blue sky kind of day, it was also in the mid 80s, with temps on the rise, the hottest day being Wednesday - temps supposed to hit 90/91.

So see while Sunday September 23 was the official first day of Fall, it isn't to be so here in Northern California. But really I shouldn't be complaining, it is just that I was ready to pull out the cute sweaters, put away those open toed shoes, dig out that oh so soft blanket, and cuddle down deep in the soft folds of my bed - but I am sure come December when it is cold, I will be writing a blog bemoaning the cold weather, when again cold in California???
