Can you believe that June is just four days away? Where oh where did May go?!
It's been a busy month that's for sure, and the busyness isn't about to subside that's for sure...
Let's see what can I tell you: well, with June approaching I am that much closer to becoming Mrs. Ellie Egles - 109 days to be exact.
Hmm, I cut my thumb the other day when I was cutting bread. Now logically you would think that I cut myself with a bread knife, but no I cut myself on the bread. Talented, yes I am.
Then the other day I burnt my finger -- my pointer finger, on my knuckle. In fact the very finger, the very knuckle that I like to pinch when I get nervous, etc. And well with a little blister I can't pinch at it, and well I need that little knuckle this week. You see I am heading to France this Friday to meet my future in laws, and you could say I am a little anxious. Not so much in meeting them as "people" more because they are French, and more precisely the fact that they speak French and I don't. I speak English and they don't.
My fiance (anytime I say that I am reminded of the Seinfeld episode where Seinfeld, Elaine, and George go to a party in Long Island at George's insistence. One of the guests asks Elaine if she has seen her "Fiance." The conversation continues: "I've lost my FIANCE. My FIANCE is upstairs..." Etc). Anywho, Guillaume, left on a jet plane last Thursday (and he does know when he will be back - John Denver song...). He is currently in Israel working, and I will meet him on Saturday at the bus terminal at the Frankfurt airport.
This post isn't overly exciting but I did want to post. I really can't believe I only posted one other time in May. Wow -- something is not ticking that's for sure, I've got to get back on it. Oh, I read a great blog post earlier today here
Ok, that's all for now -- more maybe before I waddle across the pond!
